1. Software Solutions Business:

   NIIT Software Solutions has over the years built up a vast range of services that extend from:

   • Legacy Modernization and Maintenance
   • Enterprise Integration
   • Wireless Applications

   
   NIIT offers solutions in three Industry Verticals: Finance and Banking, Retail and Transport domains.

2. Knowledge Solutions Business:

   NIIT-Knowledge Solutions creates learning content, provides technology for an e-Learning environment and extends value-added services for effective learning and knowledge transfer. It assists organizations in-migrating to a business focused technology-based knowledge environment.

3. Education and Training:

   NIIT has a Comprehensive array of courses�from the higher end to the lower end. It offers its education services under three separate brands� CATS, Futurz, and SWIFT.

   NIIT has initiated a unique Rs. 440-crore (USD 94.62 million) Student Loan Program with the World Bank�s private investment arm International Finance Corporation and Citibank that will allow around 40,000 financially challenged students to enroll for GNIIT programs over the next 5 years.

4. NetVarsity:

   NIIT made its crucial foray into the distance learning/e-learning domain through NetVarsity, its on-line university. NetVarsity was in fact India�s first ever on-line learning facility, based on the conventional model of a university.

5. K-12:

   To cater to the IT learning needs of school children, NIIT, has already signed up a dominant share of this business in the three Indian States of Karnataka, Punjab and Tamil Nadu. West Bengal has also entrusted NIIT with the task of introducing computer education in 100 schools as a pilot.

6. ESRI:

   NIIT- GIS is a strategic alliance between California based ESRI Inc. and NIIT Limited. NIIT-GIS started Indian operations in 1996. Adjudged, India�s Best GIS Solutions company � by Map India 2001.It enjoys the Largest Market Share in the country. It offers solutions in the area of Planning, Forestry, Environment, and Agriculture.

7. Engineering Solutions Business:

   NIIT�s Engineering Solutions Business has been actively involved in marketing and supporting various Computer Aided Design and Engineering tools for the Mechanical, Electronics, Ship building and Marine industry. Our business partners include world leaders such as: US based SDRC, Mentor Graphics Inc., Engineering Animation Inc. and Logimatics, Denmark etc.

8. Research & Development:

   To stay at the cutting edge of technology NIIT has set up Centers of Competence in Multimedia, NetCentric Computing, Software R&D and Manufacturing Solutions. R&D Scientists at NIIT are creating solutions to deal with the new learning environment thrown open by the Internet that addresses anytime, anywhere learning.

• NIIT, the IT Education pioneer launched 'Planetworkz', a new initiative to address the manpower needs of the growing IT Enabled Services (ITES) industry in India.
• 'NIIT SmartServe' is a 100% subsidiary of NIIT Ltd. The charter of NIIT SmartServe is to provide outsourcing of Back-Office Operations, Contact Center Operations and Help Desk support. NIIT SmartServe portfolio of services seeks to increase the efficiency of operations and provide support for internal and external customers on day-to-day running of the operations.

• NIIT took over �Osprey Systems�, a privately held full life cycle SAP solutions provider and SAP Services and Channel Partner headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
• 'DEI', is a systems integration, management consulting, and product solutions firm dedicated to the insurance and financial industries. For over 15 years, DEI has leveraged its extensive insurance industry knowledge and technological expertise on behalf of top industry organizations.
• 'AD Solutions', is a well respected custom solution provider in the Logistics and Financial Industry space with reputed clients,
• NIIT and Click2learn (NASDAQ:CLKS), a leading provider of enterprise learning platforms have entered into a strategic development and technology alliance. Under the terms of the multiyear, multifaceted alliance, NIIT and Click2learn will jointly develop e-learning and knowledge solutions for the marketplace using Click2learn's Aspen platform and NIIT's knowledge services.
• NIIT Software Solutions has alliances with global IT majors like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Siebel, Sun, BEA.
